    "The Last Two Minutes"

After a hard fought on Saturday at the SCOPE, the PROWL SQUIRTS came out to play again Sunday at Va. Beach.  Though 2 periods of play the team had 29 shots on goal, but was down 3 to 1 in the contest.  #26, Ryan Korabek led the way through the first 43 minutes of hockey with 3 goals and after trading goals in the 3rd period the hard fighting squad was still losing 4-2 with 2:00 minutes left!
Determined not to give up, at the 1:50 mark
Korabek scored his 3rd goal of the game which was followed-up by #82, Cayden Hohn scoring his first goal of the season with only: 30 seconds left to tie the game!
       The capacity crowd (
    J) could not have asked for a more exciting finish as with :03 seconds left on the clock  #27, Morgan Thorne centered the puck from beyond the net to  #42, Conor Smyth-Young who bounced a wrist shot off of the goalie’s pad; fell down and then shot in the game-winning-goal while lying on the ice!!
As a team, the kids never gave-up and gave an effort that all of the
Prowl Family can be proud of!
