Peninsula Prowl Youth Hockey Association

The Peninsula Youth Hockey Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. Established in 1998, our PYHA staff of incredible coaches, is squarely focused and passionate about developing area youth hockey players. PYHA provides recreational hockey programs for the youth of Hampton Roads, Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Smithfield, Suffolk and Virginia Beach.  Our home rink is the Hampton Roads Iceplex, located in Yorktown, Virginia.

Our philosophy has always been to provide developmental programs for aspiring hockey players to learn everything from basic to advanced skills in a healthy and competitive environment. We firmly believe that mastering the skills of playing this great game are essential to the development of a life-long interest in hockey.
